Cottage in the heart of the forest
In the middle of the recreation area, surrounded by open meadows and delicate deciduous woodland, lies Raftarp with space for 6 – 8 guests. The cottage has been adapted for wheelchair users.
The cottage contains two bedrooms with six beds in total - one bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with bunk beds and a double bed. The toilet and the shower have been adapted for disabled visitors. In the living room there is a sofa bed which sleeps two. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, cooker with oven, microwave and there is a dining table which seats 8. There are several tables and benches outside, and 150 metres away there is a barbecue area with a wind shelter. There is also a scullery entrance with a sink.
On the opposite side of the courtyard, there are public toilets and showers for hikers. In the same building there is a basic room with tables and chairs to seat 30 people which is mainly used by the outdoor education project Naturskolan Gladan, but can be hired for 300 SEK per day. There is a hay loft, where you can stay (wooden bunks and no heating) for 50 SEK per person, in the adjacent stable. A short distance away there is a campsite.
The cottage can be rented by the day, for a weekend (Friday-Sunday) or a full week. It is not permitted to house more people than there are number of beds in the cottage.
Check-in is normally at 3 pm, check-out at 11 am.
You need to bring your own bed linen, towels, toilet paper and paper towels. You will need to clean the cottage yourself. Cleaning equipment is provided.
