Easily accessible footpaths
We think it is important that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy nature and some of our footpaths have been specially adapted for wheelchairs, pushchairs and zimmer frames.
We try to adapt as many of our recreation areas as possible to make it easier for visitors with disabilities or for those who require footpaths that are more easily accessible. Ten of our recreation areas currently have facilities adapted for disabled visitors, such as surfaced footpaths and bridges, tables and benches, barbecue areas, viewing platforms, car parks and toilets.
We work systematically with the surveying and certification of our recreation areas for their accessibility. The certification process is carried out by Turism för alla (Tourism for All), which is an independent organisation that undertakes quality controls of accessibility in our recreation areas through Equality accessibility registration.
The information is published on an accessibility database: www.equality.se.
